ACLB Quarterly Meeting

Once again, the Appraisal Certification and Licensing Board is coming to Medford! Join us at the Hampton Inn on Monday, April 16th. This meeting is open to both agents and appraisers, and is accredited for all. The meeting begins at 9am,  so start drafting your questions and topics you'd like to discuss now.

Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices- USPAP - CANCELED

NOTE: This class has been canceled. It will be rescheduled after the first of the year.

Appraiser as an Expert Witness

Many appraisers looking for ways to expand their business avoid offering expert witness and litigation services because they reear the unknown. In this course, the general civil action process is discussed in detail, including pretrial procedures and what to expect once on the witness stand. The course also explores the appraiser's duties to the professional to the professional standards of ethics and competency and preparing for testimony.

Residential Appraisal Review

Many appraisers undertake appraisal reviews but often don't realize that they, too, must meet USPAP compliance standards. This course focuses on industry best practices for a reviewer when developing conclusions regarding the quality of another appraiser's work and critical points in residential property appraisal and review appraisal reporting.

2018-2019 USPAP Class

Thanks to Danee Fry for stepping up to the plate and agreeing to teach the 2018-2019 UPSAP required class for appraisers. This class is an addition to the appraiser track, and should not be confused with the USPAP class already scheduled for December, as that will be the new, 2020-2021 USPAP class that will reflect the revisions that will take effect on January 1, 20i20 which is the start of a new USPAP cycle. If you still need the USPAP class to fulfill your requirement for the current cycle, this one's for you!

Demystifying Small Income Residential Properties

Learn to identify key elements of market analysis of 2- to 4-family and multi-family properties and characteristics important to the appraiser's analysis. The course also will focus on analyzing income and expenses and how this analysis is used in the appraisal of income-producing property. Appropriate methodologies and approaches to apply to income-producing properties also will be discussed.

Residential Report Writing and Compliance
